چکیده
The dispersion stability and the thermophysical properties of microencapsulated phase change material slurry (MPCMS) for liquid desiccant dehumidification were investigated experimentally. results show that, MPCMS can be improved greatly by adding surfactant. maximum absorbency with polyoxyethylene sorbitan monooleate (Tween80) is 4.1 times that cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB). monolayer adsorption model suitable predicting optimal mass content surfactant relative error 13.3%. thermal conductivity lower than base fluid decreases increasing MicroPCMs concentration, when fraction increases from 0% to 2.0% at temperature 20 °C 40 °C, 25% 14.8%, respectively. When concentration 1.0%, keeps increase rise. While ranges 1.0% 2.0%, firstly then declines gradually. Moreover, an interfacial layer based calculation correlation was proposed, in which influence considered, deviation mean between calculated value experimental one are 5.62% 1.85%, In range transformation temperature, specific heat capacity significantly MicroPCMs, reaches 2.3 pure lithium chloride aqueous solution. addition, effect on much greater LiCl. findings provide foundation guidance practical application dehumidification.

Fabrication and Properties of Micro-Nanoencapsulated Phase Change Materials for Internally-Cooled Liquid Desiccant Dehumidification
Micro-nanoencapsulated phase change materials (M-NEPCMs) are proposed to be useful in liquid desiccant dehumidification by restraining the temperature rise in the moisture-removal process and improving the dehumidification efficiency. In this paper, the n-octadecane M-NEPCMs with desirable thermal properties for internally-cooled dehumidification were fabricated by using compound emulsifiers th...

In this research, structural-functional integrated cement-based materials were prepared by employing cement paste and a microencapsulated phase change material (MPCM) manufactured using urea-formaldehyde resin as the shell and paraffin as the core material. The encapsulation ratio of the MPCM could reach up to 91.21 wt%. Thermal energy storage cement pastes (TESCPs) incorporated with different ...

Desiccant dehumidification has been given increasing interest in the air conditioning industry. Compared with conventional vapor compression air conditioning systems, desiccant dehumidification saves energy by separating humidity control from temperature control and also improves the indoor air quality as a good filter. This research explores the potential of applying desiccant dehumidification...
متن کاملInfluence of Microencapsulated Phase Change Material (PCM) Addition on (Micro) Mechanical Properties of Cement Paste
Excessive cracking can be a serious durability problem for reinforced concrete structures. In recent years, addition of microencapsulated phase change materials (PCMs) to concrete has been proposed as a possible solution to crack formation related to temperature gradients. However, the addition of PCM microcapsules to cementitious materials can have some drawbacks, mainly related to strength re...
